As a Medical Assistant, you'll work alongside physicians and physician assistants to deliver safe, compassionate, high-quality care. You'll be an important part of the care team from the moment patients arrive through every step of their visit.

In this role, you will

• Create a welcoming and exceptional patient experience
• 🩸 Perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing
• 🧪 Collect and process laboratory specimens
• 🩺 Assist with minor procedures
• 💊 Assist with medication administration under the direction of a physician or physician assistant
• 📋 Collect, communicate, and accurately document patient information
• 💻 Maintain accurate medical records
• 💬 Provide patients with instructions and support
• 🏥 Prepare and maintain safe, clean, and efficient patient care areas
• 🤝 Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure excellent patient care

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred

Experience

• Medical Assistant experience preferred
• Recent Medical Assisting graduates are encouraged to apply!
• One year of Medical Assistant experience in a physician's office or hospital outpatient setting may be accepted in lieu of completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program

Certifications

• CMA, CCMA, or RMA preferred
• BLS required within 90 days of hire

Additional Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills
• Commitment to patient safety and exceptional customer service
