🩺 What You'll Do

As a Medical Assistant, you'll be a key member of our care team, working alongside physicians and physician assistants to create a welcoming, safe, and exceptional patient experience.

You'll have the opportunity to

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care
• 🩸 Perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing
• 🧪 Collect and process laboratory specimens
• 🩺 Assist physicians and physician assistants with minor procedures
• 💊 Assist with medication administration under appropriate supervision
• 📋 Accurately collect, communicate, and document patient information
• 💻 Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• 💬 Provide patients with instructions and education
• 🏥 Prepare and maintain safe, clean, and efficient patient care areas
• 📞 Coordinate prescription and information requests
• 🤝 Work collaboratively with a dedicated healthcare team

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred

Experience

• Medical Assistant experience preferred
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
• One year of Medical Assistant experience in a physician's office or hospital outpatient setting may be accepted in lieu of completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program

Certifications

• CMA, CCMA, or RMA preferred
• BLS required within 90 days of hire

Additional Skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills
• Commitment to excellent patient care and teamwork
