As a Laboratory Assistant, you'll play an essential role in delivering timely, high-quality patient care by supporting the daily operations of our Clinical Laboratory. In this dynamic position, you'll perform a combination of clinical and clerical responsibilities that help ensure accurate testing and exceptional service.

Your clinical responsibilities may include specimen verification and processing, phlebotomy, sweat collection, sample tracking, laboratory test cancellations and credits, and processing send-out tests. You'll also support the laboratory through clerical duties such as answering phones, distributing reports, operating office equipment, and utilizing the Laboratory Information System to maintain efficient workflow.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required (GED accepted).

Experience

• Phlebotomy experience required
• Clinical Laboratory experience is preferred

Licensure & Certification

• Phlebotomy certification is preferred
