Arthrex is actively seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to primarily support the SAP on-prem payroll system for the US and Canada. The Analyst will partner with the HR team to enhance the payroll application by analyzing, designing, configuring, testing, and implementing solutions. The role also provides ongoing technical support to HR and employees. This role is an Onsite postion based in Naples Florida with a generous relocation package and a 2 days a week work form home hybrid work schedule.  It will not be open to remote employment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide all-level and on-call coverage support to HR Payroll teams. Respond, resolve, or escalate reported incidents.
  • Requirements gathering, solution design, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and implementation.
  • Shape business requirements by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions.
  • Participate in Application Analysis, Configuration, Testing, Management, and Maintenance in an Enterprise environment, including (where applicable):
    • Access administration and user onboarding.
    • Issue resolution, patching, and performance monitoring.
    • Reliability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
    • Monitor system logs for unusual activity and escalate or make recommendations for resolution.
  • Support user acceptance testing and user training activities.
  • Adhere to the Quality System Procedures and Change Control.
  • Proficient in application configuration, including add-on products/modules.
  • Participate in assessment of application security and identity management requirements, where applicable.
  • Create functional design documents and artifacts as appropriate, including business case documentation, scope documentation, detailed functional requirements, operational requirements, process flows, and manual and automated test cases.
  • Understand technical options, limitations, costs, and risks.
  • Lead and/or participate in delivery of projects.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies, especially for US and Canadian payroll.
  • Work with internal SAP Basis and SAP Security teams to establish and maintain non-production development, test, and quality environments. 
  • Support installation of SAP ECC HR service packs through testing.
  • Benchmark current and future processes against industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of roadmaps and initiatives for enablement of new capabilities.
  • Lead process improvements and IT projects to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Viewed as a subject matter expert in the field within the organization.

Specialized Skills

  • Experience in functional and technical support of payroll processing for the US workforce populations is required; processing for Canadian workforce is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of U.S., state, and local payroll tax laws and the ability to research, interpret, and apply payroll tax regulations are expected.
  • Experience with SAP HR Organization Management and Personnel Administration (OM/PA) is required.
  • Experience with integration of a Time Management system to SAP on-prem payroll is preferred.
  • Familiar with LSMW or other mass upload software.
  • Ability to read/debug ABAP code is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager ChaRM is an advantage
  • Experience with Jira Service Management is an advantage
  • Knowledge of platform tools such as EPI-USE Data Synch Manager and support reporting tools such as SpinifexIT is a plus.
  • Previous involvement in the implementation or optimization of an HR Payroll system is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work comfortably at all levels within the organization up to the senior management level.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience required
  • Experience with SAP on-prem payroll is required.
  • At least 5 years of work experience and excellent SAP skills and knowledge required in SAP on-prem payroll.
  • Work experience preferred in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central – in a hybrid environment with SAP on-prem payroll.
