Job Description
Assists with the development of audit scope and selection of appropriate audit procedures. Performs internal control procedures for external audits, including documenting business processes and controls. Thoroughly documents findings and recommendations and communicates audit issues and findings promptly. Manages assigned projects, adheres to project time budgets, and meets deadlines. Develops and maintains productive team-oriented relationships through individual contact and group meetings. Participates in meetings to convey and gather information required for assigned responsibilities. Conducts interviews, prepares audit work papers, and composes summary memos. Performs detailed tests of controls and account balances, evaluating and documenting results in audit work papers. Develops strong analytical, data analysis, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates solid knowledge and application of US GAAP. Seeks opportunities to enhance technical skills and stays current with emerging accounting and auditing issues. Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Professional and proficient verbal and written communication skills. [Required]

- Effectively utilize available and relevant technical tools and resources (e.g., Microsoft Office and other software or hardware). [Required]
- Knowledge of healthcare industry [Preferred]
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft [Preferred]
Education:
- Bachelor's [Required]
Field of Study:
- in accounting, finance, business, or related field
Work Experience:
- 1+ full-time experience in internal audit or public accounting [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) [Preferred]

Pay Range
$45,656.00 - $84,905.60
