Equipment Lubrication Specialist, AM, Deli - Lakeland

• perform lubrication duties throughout the plant
• make repairs to equipment while performing the lubrication responsibilities (examples: replacing grease fittings that are missing or bad, replacing or installing vent plugs on gearboxes, aligning chains and sprockets)
• other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• be at least 18 years old
• demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• ability to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
• demonstrate safe working habits
• ability to climb tank ladders, regular ladders, and stairs with items to do the job once you get to your destination
• ability to maintain a clean workstation
• ability to use hand and power tools
• ability to make observation sheet upon equipment inspections
• ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently
• ability to read, write and perform basic math
• ability to obtain license and operate a forklift
• good human relations skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team player)
• willing to assist other team members in other areas
• ability to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time
• ability to work efficiently with little or no supervision

Other Compensation Information

Weekend Differential: A $2.00 per hour weekend differential is paid to associates for hours worked between 12:00 a.m. Saturday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
