Cardiovascular Technologist I- HealthPark Medical Center

Summary

Assists Cardiologists with select procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab with supervision. Cross-trains for all positions to include circulating, scrubbing, recording, and x-ray duties with supervision. Provides direct patient care, basic interpretation of hemodynamics, ECG, and medication administration with supervision.

Requirements

Education: Associate degree required or two years of formal education or training beyond high school.

Experience: Less than 1-year CVT required.

Certification: Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. For units that require American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) preferred. RCIS eligible.
