As a Certified Instrument Technician II , youll be part of a collaborative, mission-driven team committed to delivering safe, high-quality instrumentation that supports exceptional patient outcomes.
What Youll Do
Under the direction of the Sterile Processing leadership team, you will:
Maintain competency across all core Sterile Processing functions
o Decontamination
o Instrument Assembly
o Sterilization
o Case Pick
Ensure instrumentation is processed accurately, safely, and on time to support surgical services
Follow all Lee Health policies, system protocols, and industry standards including AAMI, APIC, and AORN
Participate in team huddles and contribute ideas that support continuous improvement and quality initiatives
Support training and precepting of team members as needed
Help maintain a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork within the department

Requirements
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience : Minimum 6 months Sterile Processing experience required.
Licensure : none
Certifications : Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) Certification
Other : Read, write, and speak English for work related communication
