Join Publix as a Maintenance Procurement Coordinator and play a critical role in supporting our Industrial Maintenance operations. In this position, you'll help ensure technicians have the right parts, tools, and materials available when they need them by managing inventory, coordinating procurement activities, and maintaining efficient parts room operations.

What You'll Do:

• support local site functions for parts and maintenance procurement
• maintain inventory levels and accuracy within the parts rooms
• receive, inspect, and process incoming parts and materials
• release and issue parts, equipment, and tools as needed
• complete administrative activities related to inventory management and purchasing
• coordinate with vendors and shipping carriers to support efficient parts delivery and receiving processes.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in an industrial parts room environment with parts purchasing knowledge and experience analyzing inventory data
• in-depth knowledge of industrial parts purchasing, vendor relationships, and sourcing methods, including the use of online resources and vendor databases
• in-depth knowledge of industrial parts room operations, including inventory controls, cycle counts, receiving, and restocking
• knowledge of various shipping firms (i.e. UPS, FedEx, etc.) deliverables to coordinate receiving with parts rooms
• working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Access, Project, and Word
• experience using SAP or similar systems (i.e. Shopfax, Mainsaver) for procurement, inventory management, maintenance management, accounting, or financial analysis
• knowledge of basic accounting principles
• knowledge of mathematics and statistical data analysis
• knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
• knowledge of business objectives and operational planning
• willingness to work a variable schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends as business need require

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business or a related field
• 5 years of experience in an industrial parts room environment with purchasing responsibilities
• CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) certification
• knowledge of Publix organizational structure
• knowledge of Publix, Distribution, Manufacturing, and Industrial Maintenance policies and procedures

Hours of Work

7:00am - 3:30pm; Monday - Friday

Work Environment

Temperatures could range from 20 degrees below to 90 degrees Fahrenheit for an extended period of time.
